Dental Assistant in NW Portland - Pettygrove Dental - Portland, OR

We are a long-established private General Dentistry Practice located in the NW alphabet district looking for a friendly, professional, hard-working dental assistant to join our team. No experience needed, we will train the right candidate. We are a quality and relationship focused dental practice with a friendly and engaging patient population.
We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule and who is a team player. Our staff works hard, but also enjoys the ability to take time off when needed. We value a happy work environment, and are looking for someone with a positive outlook. We anticipate regular hours between 28-35 hours/week.
We are a two-dentist office, with typically 2 hygienists, 2-3 assistants, and 2 front desk staff in the office most days. We enjoy providing a spectrum of dental services including, crowns, fillings, implant restorations, and Invisalign. Both doctors are also trained in Botox and dermal fillers.
This position is meant to support the dental assistants and dental hygienists in our office. If you show interest, we will train the right candidate as a dental assistant. Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
Duties will include:
-greeting and seating patients
-assistance chairside and charting
-taking blood pressure
-set-up and clean-up of operatories
-sterilization of instruments
-laundering lab coats and scrubs
-organization and inventory of supplies
