Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized workflow in the clinic.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required.
Assist in various dental specialties, including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and medical terminology.
Familiarity with dental systems and procedures, including aseptic techniques.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
