Dental Assistant - Children's Dentistry of Fruitland - Fruitland, ID

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Children's Dentistry of Fruitland is looking for a hard working and enthusiatic dental assistant who will help maintain a fun and energetic experience for out little patients. Dental assistants should be well organized with great attention to detail. Dental assisting experience required. You will recieve advanced training in all aspects of Pediatric Dentistry, from a busy in-office atmosphere to hospital and sugery center general anesthesia training.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments and medical history- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation- Train to work on patients under general anesthesia in hospital and surgery centers- Perform prophylaxis and flouride applications
Requirements:
-Attention to detail.
-Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed- Experience working in a pediatric dental setting is a plus- Excellent communication and people skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work well in a team environment
