Dental Assistant (Endodontic Practice) - Kellogg Endodontics, P.A. - Riverview, FL

Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
This is an Endodontic Practice. We specialize in Root Canals and Apicoectomies only.
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort, Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history, Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care- Take GREAT dental x-rays (This is a must!)- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments- Perform dental charting and update patient records using PBS Endo software- Prepare the monthly order and maintain office inventory by a suring we stay full stocked at all times.- Assure the office stays in compliance.- Assist with temporary fillings, temporary crowns and bridges- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred- X-ray certification required; CPR certification preferred- Proficiency in using PBS Endo a plus- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff
