Position Summary:
2 Workdays a week!

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Tuesday Clinic Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Wednesday Clinic Hours
--Hours may be negotiable.
--May Consider negotiable days for the right candidate.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Part-Time, At-will Employment
2 Workdays a week
Clinical Needs:
--Tuesday 8:00AM – 6:00PM
--Wednesday 8:00AM – 5:00PM

--17.75 +/- Average Paid Weekly Hours
----Arrive 15 Minutes Early, or as needed to prepare operatory
----End of day 7.5 +/-

+Many Adolescents and children are cared for by Position.
+Average Patients a Day 11 Tuesday / 10 Wednesday

COMPENSATION
*The compensation plan for an average 2 day workweek at an average of 17.75 hours per week and 853.25 hours worked per year, with 3 weeks value of paid PTO, seeing an estimated 982 patients annually, inclusive of all good faith forecasts of hours, base wage, patient production bonuses, PTO benefits, IRA benefits, planned seasonal bonuses, and a 3% IRA match is valued at $37,266.95 annually, before any miscellaneous performance bonuses. The Base Hourly Wage is set at $34.00/Hour.
**Comparing this part time position to an ordinary full-time 40 hour work week, this Part-Time 2 day workweek averaging 17.75 paid hours weekly, and 853.25 hours worked annually, including all the above wages and benefits and a contributing IRA of 3%, would be equivalent to $83,981.85 Annually.

Dental Hygienist responsibilities
Review & update medical and dental histories
Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth
Take Digital X-rays of patients’ teeth for dentist’s use and treatment planning
Instructing appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, homecare)
Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as sealants and fluorides
Performing charting and documentation
Assisting in Sterilizing dental instruments, units, and tools
Provide all other normal RDH duties applicable to licensure in the State of Pennsylvania
Assist chair-side whitening procedures as required
Assist with team Infection Control, Clinical, and administrative tasks as necessary and directed

Dental Hygienist skills & requirements
1+ years' experience in performing Dental Hygiene duties
Current PA state license required (Or able to apply for)
Current and ongoing CPR and Pennsylvania certifications such as Radiation, Criminal FBI Background, PSP Background, PA CWIS Clearance, and all applicable to PA State Licensure (Assistance available)
Experience working with children and adults
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules, OSHA Protocols and regulations and strict adherence to them
Excellent verbal communication skills through a spectrum of age demographics
Thoroughness
Excellent Time management
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred)
