OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice hours 8-530 Monday , Tuesday Wednesday,Thursday and half day Saturday (September to June ). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.- Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.- Educate patients- Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and medical coding when required.
SkillsThe successful candidate should possess the following skills:- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental terminology.- Experience in roles such as dental receptionistis advantageous.- Understanding of prosthodontics procedures.- Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting.
