Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in various aspects of dental hygiene and patient education. This position will be for permanent hire Monday's 7:10am - 5pm beginning in September 2024 with opportunity for additional hours with benefits!
Duties:
- Conduct routine and new patient dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Perform oral cancer screenings- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols- Utilize dental terminology and assist with medical documentation
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- General dentistry practices and procedures
- Digital Xrays and Charless Records- Medical terminology and medical records management- Infection control procedures in a dental setting- Familiarity with Dentrix Software
