Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Front Office Receptionist to join our friendly and professional endodontic team in San Luis Obispo, CA. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong interpersonal skills, and be eager to learn.
In addition to front office responsibilities, assisting in the back office as a dental assistant when needed is a plus.
This work schedule will typically be Monday - Thursdays from 745am - 445pm.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
- Manage scheduling, phone calls, and patient communications
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Assist the back office team with dental procedures as needed (training provided if necessary)
- Maintain a clean and organized front office
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or dental assistant preferred, but not required
- Strong adaptability and willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
- Team-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional patient care
