About the Role:
The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of dental practices by providing support to dentists and hygienists during patient procedures. This position involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with various dental procedures to enhance patient care and comfort. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that the office environment is clean and organized. By effectively communicating with patients and addressing their concerns, the Dental Assistant helps to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes trust and satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and success of the dental practice.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
Certification in CPR and basic life support.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a dental office setting.
Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records.
Certification as a dental assistant (CDA) from an accredited organization.

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are ready for procedures.
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by providing the necessary tools and support.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans and reminders.
