Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth workflow within the office.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict safety protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in the system.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required, enhancing treatment planning.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures.
Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after treatments.
Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including handling medical records.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Experience with dental software such as Dentrix for managing patient records.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Proficiency in prosthodontics procedures is desirable.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not mandatory.
