Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Review patient documentation and medical history to provide tailored care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to optimize patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Proficient in documentation review and maintaining patient records accurately.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly manner.
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
