Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction.
Support pediatric patients with a friendly demeanor to create a comfortable environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management.
Experience with X-ray systems and medical imaging technologies.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices as well as pediatrics is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
