Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage sterilization of instruments and adhere to aseptic techniques.
Assist with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.
Support the dentist in prosthodontics procedures as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
Strong understanding of infection control measures within a dental setting.
Ability to assist in various specialties including pediatrics and prosthodontics is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is desirable.
