Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Perform periodontal charting- Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in aseptic technique- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software preferred- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately- Understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging- Proficiency in dental terminology- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
