We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have Dental Assisting experience, (however NOT required), possess excellent organizational skills, know how to ensure the doctor shines with accurately prepared operatories/tray set-ups. Knowledgeable in a general and specialty dental procedures and enjoy an easy, joyful communication style. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality care to a mature patient demographic. Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Digital Radiographs: Including CBCT, PANO, FMX, ETC.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
The timely creation of cosmetic temporaries
Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Oral Surgery (experience is a + but not required)
CAD/CAM Scanning for digital impressions.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software systems (Dentrix/Fuse)
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, including proper sterilization techniques and disposal of hazardous materials
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Skills:
A fun loving and energetic demeanor
Value your team
Proficiency in 4 handed assisting
Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Fuse) for appointment scheduling, treatment planning, and medical documentation
Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
Understanding of dental terminology and treatment concepts for accurate documentation
Experience in a multi-specialty setting: Implants, Endodontics, and General Dentistry.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, providers, and other team members
Oral Surgery and All-On-Four experience is a Plus!
