Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform dental charting and documentation- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology- Proficiency in using dental software systems- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques- Ability to take accurate vital signs- Knowledge of medical imaging systems used in dentistry
