Job SummaryWe are looking to add a reliable, professional and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! Ours is a privately-owned practice that is is a mix of PPO and fee for service patients and prioritizes quality care and a great patient experience!
Hours are:
Monday 8:00-5:00
Tuesday 10:00-7:00
Wednesday 9:00-6:00
Thursday 7:00-4:00
Fridays -8:00-1:00
Salary Range - will vary with experience and chairside skills and certifications already obtained. Priority will be given to candidates with Nitrous Monitoring and Coronal Polishing certifications. 2 years of experience preferred but not necessary.
$17-$22
Our dental assistants play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist and hygienists during examinations and various dental procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take X-rays as needed.
Conduct patient intake, including taking medical histories and updating records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and materials.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in general dentistry practices.
Knowledge of dental coding relevant to dental procedures .
Experience in dental assisting with hands-on skills in various procedures, including impressions and making temporaries.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
Knowledge of dental terminology for effective communication within the practice.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Strong chairside skills
