Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position involves assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. A strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental software systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required in various treatments.
Support specialized procedures in areas such as pediatrics, endodontics, and general dentistry.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control practices.
Familiarity with dental software systems, including Epic, is advantageous.
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
