What are we looking for?
We are searching for a reliable, detail oriented Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing top-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be familiar with medical documentation and preferably experienced with Dentrix dental software.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical history and treatment plans.
Perform basic dental procedures as directed by the dentist, such as taking impressions or applying sealants.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images for evaluation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling and managing appointments.
Knowledge of medical coding, medical records management, and documentation processes is beneficial.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental technology such as 3D scanners and imaging equipment is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
