OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by providing support during dental procedures.
Review and document patient medical records accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and documentation.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices.
Skills
Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Proficiency in assisting during various dental procedures.
Excellent documentation review skills to maintain accurate medical records.
In-depth understanding of infection control standards in a dental setting.
Ability to provide compassionate patient care and build rapport with patients.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.
Experience using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.

Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
