Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Eductating patients on peridontal disease.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments effectively.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of periodontal dentistry.
Strong skills in patient assessment, dental terminology, and infection control procedures.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health topics effectively.
A commitment to maintaining aseptic techniques in all procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
