Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting optimal oral health. This role involves working closely with some pediatric and mostly adult patients, performing assessments, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional care in a friendly and professional environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive care procedures using aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, including medical coding as required.
Review documentation and ensure compliance with clinic systems and protocols.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Perform Scaling and Root Planing procedures.

Skills

Strong ability in patient assessment and documentation review.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care.
Experience with dental clinic operations and systems.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
