Dental Hygienist - Steinbicker Family Dentistry - Mebane, NC

Steinbicker Family Dentistry is located in Mebane, NC and is seeking a registered dental hygienist to join our dental team! We are a family-oriented, non-corporate private practice established for over 18 years. We're seeking one FT hygienist to work 32 to 40 hours per week (hygienist's choice) and on PT hygienist that can work Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in medical records.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold aseptic techniques.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and documentation.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with Dentrix dental software
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Ability to perform patient assessments and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
