Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry, patient assessment, and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and effective environment for our patients.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
Assist in the management of pediatric patients with care and compassion.
Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental health.
Ability to accurately assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
Familiarity with dental clinic systems and record management.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
