The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for various treatments.
Perform X-rays as required and ensure proper documentation of results.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical coding.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to prevent infection.
Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as needed.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other relevant areas.

Skills

Proficiency in medical documentation systems and familiarity with medical coding.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health.
Experience with X-ray technology and procedures.
Ability to assist in various dental specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and instruments.
