OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
Take and develop X-rays, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
Manage medical records and documentation accurately using Dentrix or similar systems.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support pediatric patients with a compassionate approach, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and waiting areas.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of endodontics being a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment is advantageous.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical records.
