Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant I with experience to join our team in providing exceptional dental care. As a Dental Assistant I, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist during procedures, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly, and maintaining high standards of infection control.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
Prepare and organize the treatment room for patient examinations and procedures.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Take and record vital signs as needed for patient assessments.
Maintain accurate dental documentation and manage dental records in compliance with regulations.
Ensure all instruments are sterilized and adhere to infection control protocols.
Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
Assist in managing patient flow within the clinic to ensure timely appointments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Requirements

Dental Assistant I certification
X-ray certification
Some chairside dental assisting experience
Knowledge of dental terminology & instruments
Familiarity with infection control procedures in a dental clinic setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally.
