OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical instruments and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of aseptic techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Sterilization Technician will contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control within our facility.
Duties

Perform sterilization processes on medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Ensure all sterilization equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions or issues.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, including monitoring indicators and documenting results.
Collaborate with dental staff to understand specific sterilization needs for various procedures.
Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff.
Assist dentist chair side with patients when needed.
Cleaning operatory and set up for clean operatory in timely matter.
Assist in the organization and inventory management of sterile supplies.
Participate in ongoing training and education related to sterilization techniques and safety standards.
Other duties in clinic may be needed as well, including vacuuming/mopping etc.

ExperienceCandidates should possess a background in healthcare or dental settings, with preferred experience including:

Familiarity with medical imaging, general dentistry, pediatrics, or dental assisting.
Knowledge of aseptic technique, dental terminology, and medical terminology is helpful.
Previous roles that demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are highly valued.

Training available on site available as well. Pay based on experience.
Background check required.
