Our family friendly dental office is looking for a Part-Time Dental assistant for our Westford location for Tuesdays (9-5:30), Thursday (9-1).
Wages are commensurate with experience.
The schedule hours are(12-30 hrs) depending on whether you are looking for part time or full time.
For Full time position the following are the hours for both locations together.
Tuesday(9-5:30) , Thursday (9-1), at our Westford office.
Monday(10-6), Friday(10-3) at our Tewksbury office
Infection Control and Radiology certification are a desirable.

Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting dental procedures and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be essential in providing high-quality patient care. Your expertise in sterilization and infection control, along with premium skills in EMR systems and radiology certification, will enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, strong communication skills and knowledge of general dentistry will enable you to effectively interact with patients and contribute to a positive dental experience. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment.
Take and develop dental radiographs while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization procedures.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
