Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, as directed by the dentist.
Manage patient records and appointments using Open Dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing materials for crowns or impressions..
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area to comply with health regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; training to our office specifications will be provided.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology is essential.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
