Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Perform medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation in compliance with clinic protocols.
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment for use.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.

Skills

Proficiency in using dental software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to assist effectively in procedures.
Experience in a dental clinic environment with a focus on assisting during various treatments.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
