Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a dental clinic environment.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take x-rays as needed to assist in diagnosis.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Assist the dentist during examinations as required.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to provide the best care possible.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
X-RAY certified
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, dental terminology, and infection control standards.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as Dental Hygienist.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
