Mobile Dental Hygienist - Seniors & Homeless Shelters (Part-Time or Full-Time) - Dentacor - Syracuse, UT

Dentacor's passion is to make oral healthcare as accessible and affordable as possible, to the people that need it the most.
We’re seeking a compassionate, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our mobile dental team serving low-income seniors, individuals in substance use recovery, homeless shelters, and other social service locations. We always have staff members present close by and precautions taken to ensure the safety and comfort of all staff members and patients.
Pay: $50/hour
Schedule: Flexible – We have both part time and full time positions open
Location: Mobile – We come to the patient (you’ll be assigned routes based on your availability and location). We provide all equipment and supplies, & set up private individual operatories at whatever location we are at. Our mobile setups are secure, professional, and always coordinated with the hosting facility’s staff. Most of our clinics are in Salt Lake City, but we do have some locations in Ogden and in Utah county.
What You’ll Do

Provide on-site preventive care at shelters, low income housing, and treatment centers.
Perform cleanings, assessments, fluoride treatments, x-rays, sealants, and more (within the expanded Utah hygienist scope)
Use state-of-the-art mobile units with digital scanning, teledentistry, and intraoral cameras
Collaborate remotely with a supervising dentist who provides diagnoses & treatment plans
Help patients regain dignity, comfort, and confidence,often with their first dental care in years.

Qualifications

Utah RDH license (required)
Comfortable working independently and traveling to mobile sites
Compassionate, team-oriented, and aligned with our mission to expand access
Comfort with basic software and technology
Experience with vulnerable populations is a plus, but not required. The people we see often haven't received dental care in years, or even decades. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care in the most accessible way possible to those who need it most.
