Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, ensuring optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Assist in the documentation of patient medical records and treatment plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment history.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experiences.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

No previous experience required.
Dental Hygienist license.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Experience with dental assisting, medical records systems, and documentation review is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
