Summary
As a Dental Assistant at Advanced Care Dentistry, PLLC, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and enhancing patient experiences. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop X-rays as directed by the dentist while adhering to safety standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Support pediatric patients with a friendly approach to ease their dental experience.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Certification as a Dental Assistant or equivalent experience in a dental setting.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and safety procedures.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred.
Understanding of general dentistry practices, including pediatric and prosthodontic care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required.
