Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients while adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate tools and techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical imaging and treatment notes.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized care plans for patients.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in patient care techniques, including medical coding and systems related to dental practices.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
