Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their oral health is maintained and improved through effective hygiene practices and education.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Perform patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Assist in the documentation review of patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive care.
Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including assisting during procedures as needed.
Manage medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques.
Knowledge of documentation review processes.
Ability to perform vital signs checks as part of patient evaluations.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on their oral health.
Experience with aseptic techniques in a clinical environment is advantageous.
