Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments, utilizing appropriate aseptic techniques.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and general dentistry topics.
Review and document patient medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
Assist in the management of patient appointments using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including pediatric care when necessary.
Maintain an organized and sterile dental clinic environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is a plus.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including children in pediatric settings.
Excellent documentation review skills to maintain accurate medical records.
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism and compassion towards patients.
