Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Take dental X-rays, ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
Record vital signs and patient medical histories accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Manage patient records using dental software such as Endovision.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient comfort.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
Proficient with dental terminology and procedures.
Proficient in taking X-rays and understanding of infection control standards.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Certification in dental assisting, dental radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring.
