Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform medical imaging tasks as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic imaging techniques.
Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and managing the cleanliness of the treatment area.
Take patient vital signs and record medical histories accurately.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage dental supplies inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and readily available.
Support various dental specialties including prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques with a strong understanding of infection control practices.
Knowledgeable in medical imaging procedures relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry principles.
