Partner Dentist - $250k Salary - Dentists of Lansdowne - Richmond, VA

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in oral surgery and prosthodontics being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations, including HIPAA standards. The successful candidate will be proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic, and will have a solid understanding of medical terminology and medical records management.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Diagnose oral diseases and conditions, providing appropriate treatment plans.
Perform various dental procedures including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience with Eaglesoft and Epic software preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience managing medical records is essential.
Familiarity with prosthodontics and oral surgery techniques is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental concepts clearly to patients.
Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dentistry.
