Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with patient scheduling.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Manage administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and handling patient inquiries.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times.
Collaborate with other dental professionals in areas such as prosthodontics and pediatrics when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
Knowledge of dental systems, procedures, and clinic operations is beneficial.
Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus.
A strong understanding of aseptic techniques is essential for maintaining patient safety.
