OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, impressions, and assisting with fillings.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in areas such as general dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, and more.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is an advantage.
Familiarity with medical records management and general anatomy knowledge is essential.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in pediatrics or experience working in a dental clinic setting is desirable.
