Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care.
Duties- Assist the dentist during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and coding procedures- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed
Requirements- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, and medical terminology- Experience in assisting with dental procedures and X-rays- Knowledge of anatomy, vital signs, and HIPAA regulations- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment- Certification in Dental Assisting preferred- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus
