Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental needs and treatment plans.
Perform a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Dentrix and Epic software for patient management and record keeping.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience or training in oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and general dentistry preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix and Epic software systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management.
