Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on infection control and patient comfort. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures such as dental extractions, root canals and prosthodontics amongst other dental services, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. A commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with both children and adults is essential.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, root canals, crowns, and prosthodontics.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix Ascend for patient management and record keeping.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental assistants, and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and adhere to dental terminology standards.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and documentation.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in oral surgery is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in infection control practices and knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as dentrix ascend is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
