Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. We open Monday 9-6 and Thursday 8-5. The hours might be flexible if needed.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient health. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the best preventive care and education regarding their oral health.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Assist dentists during examinations and treatments in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Skills
Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Knowledgeable in systems related to dental assisting and general dentistry practices.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
Familiarity with maintaining medical records accurately.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $58.00 - $64.00 per hour
