Dental Hygienist - Darien Dental - Darien, IL

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Collaborate with team members to provide excellent patient care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
Experience in a dental office setting preferred, particularly with Eaglesoft software.
Periodontal charting, probing, SRP's
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
