OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and exhibit expertise in various dental procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Perform a comprehensive range of dental procedures, including routine fillings, crowns, dentures, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, and orthodontics.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety during all procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental or similar dental software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to enhance patient treatment options.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license with no restrictions.
Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Open Dental.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Previous experience in a dental private practice is advantageous, but not required.
