Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure efficient and quality dental care for our patients.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare- Take and develop X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in medical documentation- Knowledge of general dentistry- Strong understanding of infection control protocols- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques- Knowledge of medical terminology- Ability to take X-rays- Experience with Open Dental software- Understanding of dental coding practices- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry
